STAY HUMBLE

No matter who we are, any of us could fall at any time. Any of us could be deceived at any time and not realize it. Everyone has sinned and come short of Gods glory. None of us can live up to His standards on our own. We are fully dependent on Him to keep us walking on the right path.

We need to stay humble. We need to trust Christ for our lives.

Scripture says when those in authority are righteous the people rejoice, and when the wicked rule, the people groan.

But it also tells us not to rejoice when anyone else falls. Those operating in ungodly ways will need to suffer the consequences for their sin, but a truly humble believer and follower of Jesus will not cheer when the ungodly fall. God is displeased with gloating and with self-righteousness.

Lets remember to love all people and to hate sin.

Let’s remember that our real enemy is the devil who is always looking to influence people for evil.

Lets remember to pray for all people to receive Christs love and His gift of rescuing.

When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice.
    But when the wicked are in power, they groan. —Proverbs 29:2 NLT

 Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall;
    don’t be happy when they stumble.
For the Lord will be displeased with you
    and will turn His anger away from them. —Proverbs 24:17-18 NLT

“Have I ever rejoiced when disaster struck my enemies,
    or become excited when harm came their way?
No, I have never sinned by cursing anyone
    or by asking for revenge. —Job 31:29-30 NLT

“You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.” —Ephesians 2:2 NLT
