The Bible
It’s God-breathed.
It’s eternal.
It’s alive.
It’s active.
It’s truth.
It’s flawless.
It’s pure.
It’s super-powerful.
It reveals many of God’s plans for us.
It reveals God’s plan to rescue us.
It causes us to tremble.
It humbles us.
It gives peace.
It gives joy.
It gives hope.
It gives freedom.
It tells us who we really are.
It gives us the knowledge that we’re deeply loved.
It’s sharper than any double-edged sword.
It penetrates, even as far as dividing soul and spirit.
It’s like fire.
It’s like a hammer that smashes a rock to pieces.
It’s implanted in believers.
It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
It gives light.
It illuminates our way.
It gives understanding and wisdom.
It teaches, rebukes, corrects and trains us.
It produces faith.
It’s water to our souls.
It’s our food and sustenance.
It revives us.
It purifies us.
It guards our hearts.
It gives delight.
It’s meant to be lived in.
It’s meant to be acted upon.
It’s meant to be obeyed.
It successfully accomplishes what God sends it to do.
IT CHANGES THOSE WHO READ IT.
IT CHANGES DEEPLY THOSE WHO ALLOW IT TO READ THEM.
