BUTTERFLY NEBULA

This planetary nebula, the unusually complex NGC 6302, is nicknamed Butterfly Nebula, and is also known as Bug Nebula. It's found in the constellation Scorpius, in the Southern Hemisphere, and its existence has been known since 1888. It measures about 2.7 light years across and is 3800 light years from Earth.

Its breathtakingly beautiful and appears as delicate as a butterfly!
