COLOSSAL SHELL OF LIGHT

V838 Monocerotis is a red supergiant star that illuminates a giant cloud of interstellar dust, creating an expanding halo of light all around the star. It’s located about 20,000 light years away from Earth in the direction of the constellation Monoceros, on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. Amazingly beautiful.

“By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”
Hebrews 11:3 NLT
