It isn’t about living by our “good” standards. It’s about being rescued, because we don’t have the ability to be “good” or to measure up to God’s standard. “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23 NLT
God the Son, Jesus Christ, suffered the punishment we deserved in order to rescue us and give us new life. Turning from our sin, believing in our hearts, in Jesus as our personal Rescuer, and giving our lives to Him is the most important decision we’ll ever make.
